A rupee for a day.
Yes, that’s the amount that can bring change for a person.

Feed India

Under the Feed India vertical, we have our new Project Aahar. Project Aahar aims to provide a proper, good-quality and nutritious meal to people who unfortunately have to sleep empty stomach. The food for the project Aahar is prepared in a hygienic location by the students from the Institute of Hotel Management, Bhopal using high-quality ingredients. The money collected from the people goes towards the purchase of raw material for cooking of the food. Project Aahar aims to feed fifty people every week, with distribution drives going every weekend.

Academics

Education can be one of the most powerful weapons to change the world. With this thought, we aim to work for the academic and the overall development of the kids. This happens under various projects and initiatives. Firstly, a survey of a slum is carried out to select the kids with potential. Then, under our project Akshar, we teach basics to the kids, so that their knowledge and understanding levels are at par with other kids. Then we help them to get admission to prominent schools in Bhopal, where they can get access to a good curriculum and culture for the overall improvement of their personality. Project Aakar helps them to learn new skills like dancing, singing etc our volunteers. The money donated goes to the basic school expenses for kids such as uniforms, books, tuition fee etc.

Public Health

Under the public health vertical, we have our Project Paditisation. This project aims at providing biodegradable sanitary pads to underprivileged women living in urban slums and rural areas who cannot afford the costly pads or are unaware regarding their usage and benefits. We conduct surveys to shortlist them and then distribute the pads free of cost every month as well as educate them regarding good menstrual hygiene practices. Till now, we have paditised more than 200 women and our number is increasing gradually to cover more beneficiaries.
